Physiotherapy is a practice to restore movement and function of joints and soft tissue structures back to normal after injury, surgery, illness or disability.
Massage is a manual therapy of muscles, tendons and ligaments to reduce pain, swelling, stiffness and scar tissue formation, and improve circulation and movement.
Mobilisation (Grade 1-5) is effective in limiting neck, back and joint pain caused by restrictions, adjusting alignment, increasing range of movement, stretching restricted nerves and reducing stiffness.
Individualised exercises are very much part of the treatment program of returning patients back from injury and pain. These are adapted to patient's needs and ability at the right stage of rehabilitation to help return safely, reduce recovery time and risk of recurrance.
Taping has been used for a long time for the prevention and treatment of various conditions and sporting injuries. Kinesiology taping is often used to reduce pain and swelling, support injured joints, tendons, ligaments and muscles, and correct alignment problems.

The radial pressure waves (RPW) have a pro-inflammatory and analgesic effect increasing circulation to the area and stimulate the body's own natural healing process.
Electrotherapy is used to ease pain, decrease muscle spasm, reduce swelling, help break down scar tissue, reduce inflammation and speed up the healing process. Treatment modalities available are ultrasound and TENS.
Home visits with mobile physiotherapy and sports activities with biomechanical analysis available on request.
The visits will include one or several of the treatment services stated previous.

A fitted knee brace can help in prevention and treatment plans after injury by allowing more activity with less pain. Added stability and support give more mobility and reduced pain, grinding and rubbing. Most common knee pains are arthritis, cruciate ligament and menisci tears, patellar pain, and medical conditions. The right fitted knee brace will give relief without reducing mobility.
In partnership with SPhysio, Solemate produces 3D printed insoles with unrivalled precision, comfort and performance. The process begins with a 3D scan of your feet where we talk through your needs, followed by computerised analysis of alignment for production of insoles that are bespoke to you. Our insoles are suitable for all sports, corrective and everyday use.
